Short Courses in Switzerland

Summer camps and language schools in Switzerland operate in two formats: day programmes for children living in the country, and boarding for international students. Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz in Engadin runs two two-week sessions from 5 to 17 July and from 19 to 31 July 2026 for teenagers aged 10–17. Mornings focus on German, English, French, or digital skills; afternoons are for sports and creative workshops. The cost is CHF 5,800 for two weeks and CHF 12,000 for four, including 36 hours of lessons, full-board accommodation, and all activities. Village Camps in Leysin offers two-week sessions at CHF 5,100 for ages 7–9 and 10–17, while Rosenberg Summer Camp offers CHF 12,650 for a two-week standard package. Institut Montana in Zug runs a camp from 12 to 25 July 2026 for children aged 9–15 at CHF 5,800, including airport transfer.

Business schools offer short intensives for bachelor's and master's students. The St. Galler Management & Leadership Summer School runs in July 2026, costing CHF 9,500. FHNW School of Business in Basel runs the BSwiss programme from 27 July to 7 August 2026: CHF 950 for tuition plus CHF 400 for visits and cultural events; the registration deadline is 30 April. Lucerne School of Business organises a summer school in tourism business management from 22 June to 3 July 2026 — CHF 1,800; for students from partner universities, tuition is free. For most short programmes, a Schengen visa is sufficient if the stay does not exceed 90 days.
