Visa Support and Document Assistance

The visa process for a minor student and their family is rarely simple. It involves choosing the right visa category, assembling a document package, providing proof of financial capacity, and, in most cases, attending an interview at the consulate. We support you at every stage: we help determine the visa type — F-1, J-1, M-1, or the relevant category for the country of study — check the I-20 or CAS form, track fee payments including SEVIS, and prepare documents that confirm family relationship, guardianship, or consent from the other parent for the child to travel. For families where one parent remains in the home country, this is especially important: consulates often require written — and in some cases notarised — consent from the other parent, and its absence is a common reason for refusal.

We check every form, every piece of evidence, and every letter to make sure they meet embassy and immigration service requirements. This applies not only to obvious documents — passport, birth certificate, bank statements — but also to less obvious ones: proof of tuition payment, accommodation booking, insurance, academic transcripts. In 2026, the rules changed in several key areas: F-1 visa holders now have fixed periods of stay, and the grace period after programme completion has been reduced to 30 days. We track these changes and adjust document preparation so that the application meets current requirements, not the ones from a year ago.

Our goal is to make the application as strong as possible and reduce the risk of refusal. We do not guarantee that a visa will be issued: the decision is made by the consular officer. But we do everything to ensure they have no unanswered questions about the documents. If a refusal does occur, we analyse its reasons and help prepare for a reapplication, using what we've learned.
