Short Courses in the Netherlands

Short programmes in the Netherlands cover language training, summer academic schools, and business intensives. Summer Dutch language courses at Utrecht University last from one to four weeks, with prices starting at €649 per course. The University of Groningen offers intensive summer programmes in Dutch A2 and conversational Dutch in June–August, while Radboud University organises NT2 courses to prepare for the state exam. Business schools offer two-week summer programmes: Maastricht School of Management runs an MBA Summer School on the digital economy, sustainable business, and innovative leadership from 13 to 27 June 2026; the Tinbergen Institute in Amsterdam offers 13 intensive courses in economics and business analytics from 29 June to 24 August. Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences runs a summer school in Apeldoorn with three modules — intercultural communication, marketing and personal branding, global leadership and digital innovation — cost and dates are confirmed upon registration.

For most short programmes, a Schengen visa is sufficient if the stay does not exceed 90 days.
